Just when you thought the alien invasion was successfully fought off once and for all, new waves of alien scum come in numbers far greater then 5 years ago. The government is alarmed.
An abstract from an official intelligence report: Our satellites have located as many as fifty alien interceptors rapidly approaching planet Earth. Detailed analysis of the digital image data revealed a larger object as well. Without a doubt, it's the Big Brain, thought to be killed 5 years ago. Looks like we should start a search for a new hero right now!
Who is going to win this time? Will the humanity be able to form a force capable of stopping the attackers? Or will all humans be enslaved by an alien civilization that came from a far away galaxy?

Patrick, make sure the game is install in the prrogram files (x86) as this then allows games not set up for Vista to be played as its bvasically a compatibility issue. The x86 program file has been set up to allow these games to function. Also you may need a gamma control program. Try Googling for freeware options. I did post a link over on the game giveaway project site on the 30th November about the very same problem as I encountered it myseld some time ago and downloading the file I recommend worked. However that was with XP not Vista.
I hope this helps :)

I just installed Vista and I can't play the game anymore. I keep getting the following error:
"GAMA CONTROL NOT SUPPORTED". Any clue, anybody?

Nice game guys. I've only just started playing this genre, although I do remember the early Amiga versions, which for their day were astounding. Arkanoid games caught hold of me several years ago and apart from the occassional oddity such as Gish and Gumboy Crazy Adventures (both of which have won independant games awards) that's the only genre I've bought until Alawar started to contribute to the Giveaway of the Day project. Thanks to that I've now been reintroduced to a whole new world of arcade games. I was so impressed with COS and COS 2 that I'm going to have to purchase this particular game as well as some of the other shooters soon.
I "almost" live for these games now as i'm in a similar predicament to Mr Martin below. Someone drove into the back of me while cycling to work in Sept 2005 and broke my back in four places. You may notice that I've commented on most of the Arkanoid games from around Jan 06, lol.

I have the full version of C.O.S.O.R. Easy game though, the Big Boss on the last level sure is easy when I have armor.
